In addition to partnerships with clients, suppliers, communities, universities, and Research Institutes, CIMPOR has built several partnerships with relevant institutions in Portugal and abroad, which translate into added value in learning and knowledge creation.
These partnerships and external initiatives - as well as a range of universally accepted principles - strongly shape many of our commitments by targeting international best practices. CIMPOR focuses on innovation and responding to the challenges of sustainable development, with a focus on not only environmental issues - targeted through investments in modernising its facilities - but also social - through the company's consistent involvement in structuring projects involving health, education and entrepreneur training.
CIMPOR also has partnerships with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) e com a respetiva rede internacional do mesmo, através do qual (BCSD Portugal) nos encontramos envolvidos em diversos projetos em Portugal.
Other significant partnerships include those maintained for many years with the European Cement Research Academy (ECRA), through which we have been able to develop thanks to a consortium of R&D projects sure to shape the future of our sector.
