Sulphate resistant Pozzolanic cement, consist of clinker with C3A ≤ 9 % and fly ash. Concrete with a low heat of hydration. Recommended for moderate to high strength concrete, (classes C30/37 to C35/45) exposed to aggressive environments, specifically for those containing chlorides and/or sulphates. Suitable for mass concrete.

65% ≤ Clinker ≤ 79%;
21% ≤ Siliceous fly ash ≤ 35%;
Additional minor constituents ≤ 5%;
Calcium sulfate as setting regulator.

  • Chemical
    • Sulfate content (SO3) ≤ 3,5%;
    • Chloride content (Cl-) ≤ 0,10%;
    • Clinker C3A ≤ 9%;
    • Pozzolanicity: Satisfies the test at 8 days.
  • Physical
    • Initial setting time (min) ≥ 60;
    • Soundness (mm) ≤ 10.
  • Mechanical
    • Compressive strength
    • Minimum values
    • 2 days: 20,0 MPa;
    • 28 days: 42,5 MPa.
  • Reinforced concrete:
    • Particularly indicated for classes in the range of C20/25 to C35/45;
    • Works with very long comissioning;
  • Road pavements:
    • Road foundations;
    • Bound granular base layers;
    • Concrete surface layers.
  • Mass concrete;
  • Concrete in aggressive environments;
  • Seawater works;

Minimum growth curve

  • Moderate heat of hydration with slow development;
  • Gradual progression of strength even after 28 days;
  • Good performance in aggressive environments, even when exposed to sulfates;
  • High compactness and resistance to water penetration at late ages.
  • Attend the standard minimum cement content and maximum water/cement ratio;
  • Provide adequate protection and cure according to corresponding standards;
  • Keep framework and scaolding in place until required strength is obtained;
  • When in aggressive environments, strictly follow standard recommendations and technical guidance on the subject.
  • Concrete requiring fast strength development;
  • Pre-stressed concrete;
  • Concreting under low temperatures;
  • Wear proper protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection equipment;
  • The production of this cement represents a decrease of CO2 emissions;
